Ryan Haworth- Video Coordinator

Ryan Haworth enters his second season on the Rice staff as the Assistant Video Coordinator/Production Specialist.

He comes to Rice after one season at Oregon State University where he worked for the Video/Ideation Department. Haworth edited and produced video content for the entire athletic department.

He joined the Beavers from Simpson College where spent two seasons with the Storm as a Volunteer Video Assistant. Haworth oversaw a student staff and produced highlights.

A 2012 graduate of Simpson College, Haworth started as a student video assistant for football and also competed for the wrestling team. He graduated from Indianola High School in Indianola, Iowa. 

Marvin Nash- Executive Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting

Marvin Nash came to Rice in May of 2023 as the Owls’ new Director of Recruiting Operations/High School Relations.

Nash has spent the last 15 years coaching high school football in Texas, most recently at San Marcos HS where he served as the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator. He was a part of a pair of Texas state champion teams at Denton Guyer (2012 & 2013) as well as three appearances in the state championship game and five state semifinals.

He graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 2003 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Psychology and Exercise & Sports Sciences) and was a two-time All-American Southwest Conference Selection and four-year letterman as a safety and linebacker for the Kangaroos.
Nash has three children, Reagan, Damon, and Trey.
